Each child enrolled at Star of the Mary, Sea ELC has a portfolio developed for each child by his or her teacher. Observations by teachers and staff of each child are done daily and recorded. Parent-Teacher conferences are conducted two times during the school year in October and March. Special conferences can be made by the request of the parent or teacher.
- Student Assessment Reports are also provided twice a month to parents.
- Formal Progress Reports are provided three times per year.
New and Prospective Parent Orientation

Parent involvement
All Parents are highly encouraged to be involved in the the school community in various ways, that include service and volunteer-ism. The school offers many opportunities for parents to participate in their child’s school life as volunteers for special events, home room parents, committee chairs board members and more!
Mary, Star of the Sea Early Learning Center’s Parent Teacher Guild (PTG) provides parents with an opportunity to be uniquely involved in building relationships and partnership between school and family.
